Agents — who connect opportunities from thriving societies with the needs of striving societies — humanitarian workers bear the pressure to keep in balance demands and supplies, to make objective choices in the subjective consequences, and to make the best use out of the limited resources and capacities. However, without efficient reporting of this work, donors raise more concerns over tracking how money is spent. The humanitarian community is trying to come up with an efficient solution to improve transparency and traceability in humanitarian logistics. One of them can be blockchain technology.
